Added 2024-05-08 15:37:02 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: MAISONNEUVE MAGAZINE
Deadline: 20 May 2024
Maisonneuve is now open for pitches for our unthemed fall issue! We are looking for reported features with angles that are refreshing and urgent, flush with strong analysis and literary flair. Get your pitches to nour[at]maisonneuve[dot]org by May 20.
We recommend reviewing our website before pitching, which has a more detailed rundown of the types of stories we're interested in publishing: https://maisonneuve.org/contribute/ We are only interested in long-form journalism pitches at this time. We pay 0.15/word for most articles.
We strongly, strongly prefer detailed, descriptive, well-developed pitches over finished drafts. Pitches should demonstrate the angle of the story, the narrative, who you intend to interview, the research you intend to integrate and who you are as a writer.

Any questions can be directed to Maisy editor-in-chief Nour at nour[at]maisonneuve[dot]org. We're looking forward to seeing your brilliant pitches! Make sure to send them to us by May 20.
