Michael Galvis, Editor at D&D Beyond, is looking for writers:
I'm looking for freelance writers for D&D Beyond articles. You should be highly knowledgeable of the fifth edition D&D ruleset, and regularly turn in relatively clean copy.
Linked samples don't need to be D&D-specific, but they should:
Show an understanding of writing for online audiences and for SEO
Show off your unique voice
Be free of errors
Reflect your ability to do research and turn learnings into digestible info
I will not accept any work created using generative AI. It is banned at every step of our editorial process.
You should be comfortable with:
Following a strict style guide
Receiving revisions*
Turning in pieces on time
Communicating when something comes up
Providing fact check links, when needed
* I aim for max two rounds of revisions. Expect at least one every time.
I'll also add that with the 2024 core rulebooks coming out later this year, I'm really looking for writers who would love digging into those books and writing about them!
