Writer wanted (AI) | ~10 cents per word

Ray Wong, Deputy Editor of Reviews and Guides at Inverse, is looking for a writer: 

I'm looking for a freelance writer to cover AI for Inverse. Do you have strong opinions about AI consumer hardware, apps, and services? Are you plugged into all the latest news happening in AI and know how to explain why AI TK matters/doesn't matter in short blog posts or columns/essays?  

Ex: The ideal writer is a person who might see a new AI feature announcement for the Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and immediately understand how it will or won't change things. Or OpenAI announces a new GPT and you can explain why it's useful or dumb as hell. Or [insert phone maker] announces new generative AI features for their phones and you explain why it'll be impactful or not!  

Rates:  

• AI essays/columns (min 800ish words) — $100 

• AI news blogs/explainers (min 400ish words) — $50 

Looking for 4x short blog posts a week, or 2x essays/columns a week, or 2x blog posts + 1x essay/column a week. 

Writing experience is preferred, but not required. Clean copy is a must.
