Jazon Salzman, Editor and Founder of The Colorado Times Recorder, is looking for writers: 

The Colorado Times Recorder, a Denver-based progressive news site, seeks freelance writers outside the Denver metro area (especially in Greeley, Ft. Collins, Durango, and Pueblo). Assignments would include public meetings, political events, reaction/analysis, and gatherings featuring public figures. Posts will be about 500 to 1,500 words. Payment is $250 per article. More for longer projects.
