The Minotaur Group is a leading risk management and homeland security consultancy that brings over 20 years of industry experience to every project we undertake. We provide assessment, information, advisory and grant writing/management services to corporations, foreign and domestic government agencies, non-profits and individuals.
We are looking for a Grant Writer that is familiar with Federal Homeland Security Grants – specifically the Non-Profit Security Grant Program (NSGP). This person would interface with the client (who is seeking the grant), perform the required hazard and vulnerability assessment, write the grant response and submit all required paperwork to the applicable authority by the deadline.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Provide a record of successful grant writing
Knowledge of the NSGP process and program
Ability to understand, interpret and apply governmental regulations and grant guidelines
Experience in performing hazard and vulnerability assessments (physical, not IT)
Interface with the clients and understand their security shortfalls and why they need the grant
This is a remote position except for travel to client sites to perform assessments.
This is a contract, project-based position (1099). You must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
