Seeking folks who moved away from a place they loved living in for years, moved for a job or a partner's job, unexpectedly fell in love with living in a place they never thought they'd love, or have lived many places until finding one that they adore.

Examples:

• We moved our family to Florida for my husband's job. It ruined our marriage — and I'm back in Ohio with the kids.

• I moved around Europe for 6 months. If I had to pick a place to live permanently, it'd be this lively, walkable city.

• I moved from Connecticut to California. I loved it, but I felt so relieved when I returned to New England years later.

• I've traveled to all 50 states, but there's only one I'd choose to live in every time

• We went on a trip to Europe 3 years ago and never left. Our kid's life is way better here than it was in the US.

• We thought Massachusetts was the perfect place to build a life. Boston let us down, but we found peace elsewhere in the state.

• I left the US and moved to Vienna, the world's most liveable city, a year ago. It's been incredible and I don't want to leave.

• We lived in Charleston for a year, but it was too expensive and crowded. Now, we're happily settled 2 hours north.

• I've lived on 3 continents. Our town in Canada surpassed my expectations, but London let me down.

• A handsome stranger convinced me to travel to Barcelona. We lasted only 3 days, but I've now lived here for 4 years.

• We traded Seattle's nightmarish traffic and expensive housing for quiet streets and a big yard just an hour away

• I moved alone from NYC to the suburbs of Pennsylvania. I love it, but it's been filled with a mixed bag of surprises.
