I am not sure I agree. Why hide in the thumbnail what is inside? Isnt the purpose to most efficiently convey the content? This increases the chance of people clicking the video who actually are drawn to animation type videos. This in turn increases the chance that those people watch the full thing, which in turn is what youtube and viral impact is about.

None of them. Go with something else. Allow the viewer to find out the video is an elementary-level animation AFTER they’ve already clicked on it.

Would be great to have a chat. However I would personally not use discord nor any other messenger that is not end to end encrypted for the kind of topics potentially discussed. There are some end to end encrypted out there. I use Keybase.

1 and 3. Unrelated but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to have a forum or a discord group to create a community dynamic and discuss deeper about different topics brought up by your videos. This way we could have proper discussions beyond comments and get to know each other more. What do you guys think ?

I like #1.
FYI, the 2020 Women's March will take place on Sat., Jan. 18. Might get more viral-ness if your video co-incides with that event.

I still like 3. It shows that even 2nd place isn’t good enough.
