Deadline: 15 June 2025
Our Bright Ideas in Travel list honors the players, places, and projects that are approaching travel’s most pressing issues with thoughtfulness and zeal—ideas that straddle the realms of sustainability, community, inclusion, accessibility, conservation, innovation, and wellness. To be considered for the list, the Bright Idea must be actively in-progress, and making a clear and proven impact on the travel sector at the time of the idea's submission. This doesn't mean the idea must be completely finalized; we encourage submissions of ongoing efforts, but would like to avoid hypotheticals/projects-in-theory.
To submit a Bright Idea for consideration, please use this form. Please review it, even if you think you don't have any ideas. The form is engineered to tease out an idea and brief us on the impact and importance of the Bright Idea you're pitching; it invites clear and concise explanations, as well as data points that demonstrate the impact of the Bright Idea. The deadline is June 15; please fill out this form by then. If you have any questions, please email us at hannah_towey@condenast.com and matt_ortile@condenast.com.
CONFIDENTIAL NOTE: Reports indicate that Conde Nast Traveler pays up to $1+ per word. It is recommended that you discuss the rate(s) with the editor upon the acceptance of your pitch.
