Suddenly Senior isn’t just a website—we’re growing a YouTube presence dedicated to helping older adults laugh, learn, and live better. We’re seeking a creative scriptwriter who can transform complex or everyday topics into concise, engaging, and informative video scripts that convey personality and clarity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Write 2–4 scripts per month (3–6 minutes each)
Topics include Social Security updates, Medicare changes, lifestyle tips, nostalgia, scams to avoid, and boomer culture.
Craft hooks that capture attention in the first 10 seconds
Write in a clear, conversational tone for a 55+ audience
Collaborate with our video editor and voiceover talent
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience writing for YouTube or video formats
Strong storytelling instincts with an understanding of pacing and visual flow
Ability to break down complex topics into bite-sized, friendly explanations
Familiarity with senior audiences or boomer culture is a big plus
Bonus: background in copywriting, journalism, or infotainment
COMPENSATION
$100–$175 per script, depending on complexity and length. Monthly assignments are available with potential for ongoing work.
