If we are our memories, then Fitz's memories have been completely changed and therefore he is a very different person. I agree with Christopher Simeon above. His baseline is the same, but the details of how he goes about reacting to situations is going to be different because of the different memories and it is obvious that his mother was a great influence on him and made him compassionate considering what his dad said about when he was having second thoughts and empathy, he said that was his mother talking. Fitz didn't have his mother nor Jemma here and their "womanly sentiment." ;-) I was like, "Sheesh, WTF?!" when he said that.

2022-08-19 11:08:10 +0000 UTCI'm really behind on my watching! Your reaction to Trip was just ... the best. I'm so glad you didn't notice the actors name in the opening credits. At the time this was airing, I remember speculating about who could possibly come back in the framework - Raina? Cal? Scorch?? Super happy it ended up being Trip. I also like the symmetry of him coming back in the episode that Daisy gets her powers, when he died in the episode she first got her powers. Framework Phil amuses my on so many levels, but "hives" just kills me. Mace finally gets his hero moment, mirroring the picture of him in Vienna from the real world. I'm not sure what to call that, but RIP Mace.
