I love these characters so much, they could do any story and even if I didn't entirely click with the plot, I'd enjoy watching the actors & their characters respond to everything. They've got such a great crew of performers on this show!

2021-06-11 02:54:10 +0000 UTCI really love S4. The Ghost Rider arc is great and I really like the Framework as an excuse for a "what if?" riff on several characters. I honestly had no idea you weren't enjoying it. I knew you didn't like robots and you obviously didn't like AIDA (but I thought that was in a love-to-hate-her way). Anyway thanks for sticking with it. It's been fun to re-watch with you. S5 is going to be good too.

2021-06-01 19:54:06 +0000 UTCThe group talk at the end is another fav of mine. I'm sad they didn't even get pie before being taken away. Adios AIDA. I thought the actress did an amazing job with all the different versions of that character. Repeat viewings makes her more interesting I think. I really like her as a villain, but didn't quite like her murderous rampage at the end. I love how this season is put together, with each arc feeding into the next, and all coming together in the finale. The way they played out the arcs with the different opening titles was a great touch. I had a thought about a comparison to Buffy (spoilers for anyone that hasn't seen). Remember in the season 2 halloween episode? Xander becomes army guy, but he keeps those memories afterwards. Sort of like the after effects of coming out of the framework. Also they said hellmouth in this episode so I was thinking Buffy lol.
