@28:20 damn yall kinda butchered that part about the Magath rank thing. He didn't get ranked for dying, he was always know as Commander Magath, but when Willie and the rest of the upper military died to Eren's attack Magath was made General of the whole military as Willie's plan. Multiple times Magath has been correcting everyone saying "It's General now!" because everyone is so used to him being Commander, but this time Pieck corrected Gabi saying "it's General now" as a way to respect his rank before he dies.

2022-07-27 08:59:06 +0000 UTCI loved the post discussion here. In defense of MAPPA's illustrators and animators, i like to put time of preparation into perspective. They had somewhere between 8-11 months to animate the entire first half of s4 while juggling Dorohedoro, God of Highschool and JJK. By comparison s3's fight of Levi vs Beast Titan was literally 4 months of preparation and animation. WIT has typically prided themselves on not doing more than a project or two a year, a philosophy that has left them in financial turmoil, as Ranking of Kings is their last project prior to intervention... MAPPA on the other hand has pumped out at least 4 projects a year for the past few years and it shows more often than not in AoT because we have proof of how the product could have been completed differently. One thing i will give MAPPA extreme credit for is how much more subtle animation they brought to AoT.
