It's cute how the alumni stuck around to work at their family-owned neighborhood Mom and Pop shops in Karasuno. Re: Shimizu, in the last episode she was telling Yachi that her legs have scars which is why she always wears leggings to cover them up. My reading of it was that it was a serious injury that required surgery so she had to quit the Track Team. But she found new purpose as Team Manager for the Volleyball Team.
