2021-08-10 09:11:38 +0000 UTCShankar is a terrific director, many of his movies take a serious issue and address them with a fictional avenger as the protagonist. He is not known just for his songs but his amazing commercial movies too. You have to watch it with different expectation to art house movies. Pls don’t watch ‘I’, I recommend Indian as the movie you should watch first. It has a terrific Kamal Haasan in it. ‘Enthiran’, the prequel to 2.0, and Sivaji with Rajinikanth are other good movies. There will be some cringe moment but they depict the cultural references at the time correctly during these moments.
