They are equipped with 4 small arms that turn in circles nonstop. At the end of each are sharp pointy rubber bristles, pressed against my soles.
They are taped on the bottom of my feet, following their every move. Which doesn't matter much, as my toes are tied back to the chair anyway, forcing the soles to be all stretc...
