SOOOO first regardless if you like it or not it needs to be a popular vote even if that means less quality film but that are more popular get chooses because everyone here pays so they deserve a vote. 2. I split it into regional and HindI NOT BECAUSE I ALWAYS WANNA MAKE SURE WE watch a Hindi film but because if they were lumped together HINDI ALWAYS WON. That’s how it was in the beginning. I can’t split it into every region because we only watch 8 films a months and I can’t have Patreon picking every film we watch in a month . Regional polls Incase you forget once a language is chosen for that month it isn’t eligible again for 2 months so other regional languages have a better chance. Same reason if a SRK film is chosen in Hindi the next month it isn’t eligible. We have more Hindi speakers here then anything followed by tamil then Malayalam. I don’t know how to make it more fair then it already is I’m sorry if you have ideas outside of letting Patreon pick every film for the month please let me know.

If new films come let that be outside polls. Out of 4 movies from poll let one be Hindi , one be Tamil one be Malayalam last one be others. This way every region will be given importance at the same time u will also watch outside poll suggested also like YouTube comments suggestion

2022-04-01 23:14:19 +0000 UTCKorbin… please continue to run polls the same way… your way works… i am a Tamilian and a Malayali at the same time… i naturally have bias to both… but at the same time i respect all other language patrons and they need to be given equal importance when it comes to picking quality content… if you have enough Patreons voting for various Regional movies then splitting in four groups would be ideal ( East, West, North, South) and club Hindi in North vs keeping it as a poll by itself… just a suggestion!

2022-04-01 22:58:56 +0000 UTCI disagree. Kannada movies never won the polls. And if your suggestion is to be taken into account, Kannada movies will never win the polls. How is it fair then? I remember Korbin once had separate polls for different languages. Maybe it proved to be too taxing for him and that's why he discontinued with it. But I think he can resume that idea once every 4 months where they can see 8 movies from different languages if we consider them seeing 2 movies a week.

Its okay that you don’t like them. But you need to understand that a lot of people like them as well. And now because of the new rule for srk movies, I think its fair now.

Here’s one possible suggestion(May be someone else also suggested this)- 1. Have a Hindi poll as usual. 2. Have a South Indian poll (as you only mentioned they are the 2nd largest group)- and you could follow current rules- like if Tamil wins this month, next month only kannada, Telugu and Malayalam eligible. 3. Have a 3rd poll for marathi, Bengali, gujrati, Assamese. This will make it fair for these languages getting sidelined by South Indian ones. Again follow similar rules as in #2 above. Now you have got 3 movies from patreons and 5 of your choice . You lose one choice but May be make patreons happier.

2022-04-01 15:54:31 +0000 UTCTotally understandable. Hindi has its own poll because the majority are Hindi speakers here and I get why you can't have a poll for each region (though it would be nice). But as a change, it would be funny if you just pick films randomly for one month or so and see how it's going 😂 I have a big film-list and I give each film a number and use a random number generator because I have trouble choosing.

2022-04-01 15:39:38 +0000 UTCDon’t have much to say about the other things you mentioned but you definitely need to find a better way of doing regional polls. My suggestion would be to do regional polls divided between all south indian languages grouped together and rest of the regional languages grouped together ALTERNATIVELY - so regions outside of South also get a fair chance of winning the polls. This way you wont even have to be in a situation where Patrons would be picking every movie for you.

Some movies keep appearing in the comments of your reaction videos and I know you read them. Would be good to see some of those movies being reviewed on a monthly basis too. Just a suggestion.
