Especially for kids and younger people back then. In the West, it's a very big thing - half the people in my circle are scared of clowns :) and there are so manyy western horror shows based on clowns..in India I think "Woh" was the one I remember from my childhood- but not much before that :)

2022-04-13 00:14:13 +0000 UTCClown phobia wasn't a thing in India..at least until the 2000s..the concept was alien to us at the time...in fact none of us kids were really scared of clowns I remember..and the Disney characters you see in the video were everywhere back then- we didn't find them creepy because that's what we were used to! It was cute for us.

2022-04-12 17:57:47 +0000 UTCThere is an old interview of Tabu that I saw on Tv sometime in the 90s or early 200s where she says that she wanted to be the heroine who sings songs and runs around trees with the hero in romantic numbers. Instead, everyone is just taking her too seriously and giving her all these serious roles while she wished she could have some fun! :D
