From the trailers it is perhaps being suggested that Deepika is carrying the last avatar Kalki in her womb and Big B (ashwathama) promises to protect her. The big bad villain in this mythic tale is called Kali (Kamal Hassan?) ,to detroy whom Kalki will be born. The age when all this happens is called Kaliyug (the age of Kali).
