I think you should maybe add askshay/shilpa/suniel to the title for easy searching; this song iconic, it was the most popular one from that year and is in a lot of "best of bollywood" compilations. If you watch the movie it will probably make a bit more sense bc suniel shetty at this point has lost his marbles practically stalking this woman (she is not cheating, akshay is her husband) but he's also too hard to be mad at bc of their backstory. It's a good movie and took 5 years to make (which is forever in bollywood terms) and everyone was so surprised when it came out that it turned into such a huge hit because all the makers thought that after 5 years people would have lost interest ... it took over that year as a superhit -- suniel shetty won a filmfare award (his only one I think) for this movie and akshay/shilpa were dating in real life when filming it. It's a really nice movie and IMO Akshay's character/role is one of his most likeable.
