re Jin maybe being preoccupied with something- I think this was days before he enlisted so that may have been on his mind - but now he's back!!! and soon the rest! 💜 and yoongi with this long hair is chefs kiss!! the separate clips helps cause we all end up watching everything 8 times anyways- once as a group and 1 time for each memebr member. this makes it easier for us

2023-07-10 06:26:59 +0000 UTCI will say that I am biased toward the Kim Line (RM was my first bias in BTS, Jin and Tae) Tae is my ult bias, Yoongi constantly wrecks me, and I can never get enough of Jimin’s etherealness (& when VMIN sing together), and JK and Hobi are so freaking talented! After watching so much BTS content and listening to so much BTS music you really can’t help but love all seven members even if sometimes 1 or 2 stick out the most to you! 🤗 As always I love your reactions and I hope you react to some concerts soon to really see the guys in their element!! 💜💜

"most popular" member is a more nuanced distinction than you might think! really depends on which country you're talking about, or what metrics are being used. Generally speaking, all three members of the maknae line are in a constant cycle of trading off that title. Occasionally one of the hyungs will pop on to the list when they do something that makes the news, but other than that, it's always the maknaes. V is probably the most popular in the west--other countries are just fascinated by him (and for good reason!) He often comes up as #1 in most-googled celebrities, and he trends a lot on twitter (which makes sense, with both google and twitter being more heavily used in the west than in asia). I just imagine people seeing his face, going "Who IS that guy??" and then rushing to Google. 😂 Jimin is most popular at home in South Korea--he really is Korea's "It Boy." Koreans who don't know k-pop still know Jimin. The Korean Business Research Institute does a "brand reputation ranking" and Jimin has topped it for 24 months (for the most recently released June data, Jimin ranked #1, JK was #2, RM was #4, V was #6, Jin was #12, Suga was #18 and J-hope was #28). And then there's JK, who is just a global superstar. The kid can't sneeze without setting social media records, can't show a product onscreen without accidentally causing it to sell out instantly. His livestreams often have him breaking viewership records--records which were set by him in the first place, lol. He's probably the most all-around popular member. His album release is going to be nuts, and I can't wait!

I love that you took the time to watch all seven of them; it's so interesting to see the different ways they engage and perform even when they have few lines. They have often done these individual member cams, and they're usually filmed by a separate camera trained on each member. You can see the cameras on tracks zipping back and forth during filming when they're dancing. When you were wondering what was on their mind, especially Jin, I have to suspect there were a lot of emotions being felt. They had to have recorded this around November of last year, knowing that it wouldn't be released until Festa. Jin enlisted mid-December, so that could have been weighing on his mind. Also, you can have a double bias. ;) Jungkook and Jimin are my biases. Jungkook is my ult though. The other five all take turns as wrecker, and each of them have my heart in different ways.

Their vibes are indeed pretty different, but together They are a chaotic emotional bunch. Love them. Your reactions and Journey have being só fun só far.
