Merry Christmas from a very snowy Northern Japan! We've had record snowfall up here this year❄️ I was very lucky to have been invited to Yamagata Prefecture to promote their onsen town so I got to experience the snow all week! And was also able to join a little Christmas get-together with Natsuki, Chris, Joey & Aki before heading back home to Morioka :)

We explored the Mt. Haguro area in Tsuruoka, Yamagata - jeez this place is beautiful! I had seen it in the summer previously, but I have to say it looked even better in the snow. The best part is the hundreds of stairs leading down to the pagoda area were covered in snow and turned into a giant slide, so we just slid all the way down on our coats haha 😂

The onsen town video will be up in January! I'm going to start editing it this week. I think I got some really beautiful footage so I'm looking forward to going through it all.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, and that the final week of 2020 is a good one❤️Here's to a fresh start in 2021 - excited for things to get back to normal and get my cats. Honestly that's my only New Year's resolution, get the cats safely back to Japan. I'll make it happen 💪
