As you may have noticed, the number of people supporting me keeps going down;
while reading the exit surveys I've noticed that a couple of you deleted your pledge due to Patreon recent bans based of political speach and such, and asked a different way to support me other than patreon.
Well, the problem is that there is no real alternative right now...
Most platform reject NSFW projects and those who allow them are too shady to be considered and trusted.
Patreon is the only real option right now and for the time being.

They banned someone for words said off-platform when their terms of service (as clarified by their CEO) say they only look at things you post to your Patreon. They lied about the context of what this person said to make it look like racism (it wasn't), said he hadn't engaged with the appeals process (he had) and said he had previously been warned (he hadn't). I could go on, but this was a *nakedly* political act and many people completely unrelated to the situation are leaving on principle.

2018-12-31 14:25:05 +0000 UTCNot exactly. Crowndfunding device in this mode, maybe, but there are other ways to fund a creator without Patreon. A direct paypal account for example. StudioFOW is also creating their own donation system in their website, like Timcast did, and I heard of a couple other solutions like cryptocurrency. Yes, they aren't as neat and easy to use like Patreon, but they are possible and you remove the middle man. Alternatively, you can wait for an alternative, as J Peterson said he would make at the begin of next year (which I'm not sure if you'll be able fund adult projects with it). Patreon is a sinking ship, get woke, go broke in action.
