Oh also: the movies are based off the Disney Fairies books. They started as a trilogy written by Gail Carson Levine, then other authors wrote their own stories in that universe before the movies came out. Obviously there are quite a few differences between the books and movies but if your daughters are interested you should read the books with them

2024-11-04 19:15:12 +0000 UTCThere are 6 of these movies. I grew up with all 6. This franchise was a big part of my childhood. This was such a big deal when I was a kid. Every girl wanted to play fairies and every girl wanted to be a water fairy or an animal fairy. The pirate fairy was my favorite of all the tinkerbell films but I highly recommend watching the all of the tinkerbell films. Because there are things in the pirate fairy that makes no sense unless you watch the first 4 films.
