Hey Everyone!

Been working on the cover images for the 4 Creatures EPs which we will begin to roll out in the coming months. Each EP has an A side "single" so each cover will showcase the title of that track on various trapezoidal billboards that we will photographed for the final image. When they're finished they will be used as the digital covers for those songs on the streaming platforms etc.

I drew a quick sketch of the billboard shapes as a first step. Then Corinne built them in 3D using cardboard and wood, then covered them with a base coat of paint. I then painted the lettering on to the signs.

After the lettering was done, Corinned added a coat of "dirt" paint to make the billboards look like they had been set up on a dusty highway for decades.

The lights for the billboards as seen in the top right in the image below are made out of little LEDs and copper tubes.

The ground and highway are made of cardboard, wood and paint. The paint has some sand mixed into it to give it the texture.

Here is the set up! We were waiting for the right amount of sunset before we started photographing the set.

Here's another test. There's still some more work to do. Some light/color correction and cropping it to a square shape for the digital single covers etc.

It will look a lot darker/duskier than this but I wanted to show you some behind the scenes shots so you get the idea of where it's heading!
