I am looking forward on tutorials on the approaches of mastering and mixdown. I cannot tell if putting a saturator for soft clipping on every bass sound is essential? Also I am looking how to better saturate a sound along with when determining when to use either OTT, Multiband compression, and or multiband dynamics, and of course applying more saturation to bring it all back up. Sometimes I do very well, and sometimes I am completely failing it making great sound quality. This is some things I feel at times I struggle with, and even spending too much time with.

2025-02-21 21:52:37 +0000 UTCIn the list of 10 currently-inspiring movies, I think you'd said that Crisis Vision was inspired by Evangelion and its sound design. I think it'd be interesting to learn about whatever you're interested in sharing from an artistic and conceptual standpoint. Like, e.g., if there are certain things you're trying to invoke or reference it'd be cool to learn about how those influences (incoming and outgoing) are related to the technical aspects of what you're doing. (But also, I'm just a little guy, so IDK π)

2025-02-13 04:43:58 +0000 UTCMost of my barriers I've noticed are "sounds" just sounding . . . flat or muffled like they're under water which I have a feeling is related to my EQing (I don't have a developed ear yet and I also don't know what I'm actually suppose to listen for) so that may just be something I learn over time.

2025-02-10 23:33:08 +0000 UTCI enjoyed hearing in your recent video about your thoughts of making music you love and not forcing unhealthy productivity hacks. A lot of people (me included) get lost in the process of production (and have fun doing it), but struggle finishing music and having something tangible to share. It feels difficult to find the goldilocks zone of balance of structure (to finish music) and fun (enjoying the process). How do you approach this? Is it getting better at committing to ideas (not forever tweaking), self imposed deadlines, limitations/restrictions? TLDR: How do you set and meet goals without killing the fun? Thankssss <3
