2024-03-05 05:04:51 +0000 UTCThanks man. I was tempted to go the OP route. The problem with those kinds of stories is that they lose all sense of adventure quite fast. You either have to come up with ridiculous enemies for your protag to face or you have to nerf the protag you've already made powerful. I'd rather keep a steady arch through out the story. Besides, given that he will eventually come to interact with deities and such, there will come a time that Greg is ridiculously powerful. Until then, let's just enjoy the ride...๐

Some time ago, when Greg/Roka started his apprenticeship with Alena I was wondering if you are going to make him special compared to other mages in this world. And then you've managed to wonderfully write this progression without it looking like he is going to be super OP. I also love the ideas and depth of the magic system that you are trying to show us. Even though Greg haven't even cast a single spell yet it's getting more and more interesting.
