The Hitman and Mister Frost (Air Date: 11/14/92)

(Bridge 4:55, Outro 8:44)

Apologies for the lateness of this week’s  Drive-In Theater,  but I had some problems with the upload and just now got it up. (If you know what I mean, and I think you do... 😉)

Hope you‘re having a wonderful week so far, Patreon Pals. JB and I will be in Atlanta this weekend for 2 performances of “How Rednecks Saved Hollywood“.  Hopefully I’ll be seeing some of you there! (He has a lil’ Chuck Norris section in the show, so if you‘re coming to check it out you can pre-game with this ep to help get you in the mood . 😉)

See you here Friday for your weekly dose of Random Radness! ❤️❤️❤️

Ooh, he does The Forgotten One? Love that film - I'll look forward to the day you track that one down! 😁

I always associate it with Frankly Mr Shankly by The Smiths. "You are a flatulent pain in the arse!"

I would say that "Arsehole" sounds like a far more harsh insult. Ass sounds round and smooth but Arse is full of arrrrrr. I'm starting to find a lot of these films on YouTube but who knows how long they'll be there when we all start watching them https://youtu.be/hh5NQG4l5YI

I was at the audience pre-screening for Mr. Frost. Last one I ever done did. I remember it being disturbing, and having an interesting cast.

Moviegique

It's truly a GREAT early Goldblum role that has stuck with me decades after seeing it. I have a bootleg DVD of it but it's VHS quality, sadly.

Joe Bob nailed it with the creepiness. Goldblum is basically Walken esque.

Cry Baby was shown on TMC back then since they were the exclusive home of Imagine/Universal movies and select Universal movies prime time networks turned down until Starz got them.

Checking out the Forgotten ones as a result of this video I think he mentions it in the outro

I’ve never even heard of it, but it seems to have some fans. Adding it to my watch list now! 🥰

Wow really?? I’ve literally never heard of it. Guess I’ll have to check it out. 🥰

Mr. Frost is amazing, and it's puzzling that it's so hard to find on streaming or disc!

Mr. Frost was a frequent rental at my old video store. Such a great story! Even before Goldblum is revealed to be the devil, his nonchalant serial killer was horrifying. One of my all time favs.
