2022-03-10 06:27:58 +0000 UTCAnyway, I know the complications, etc., and thinking about the licensing for a sweeping Drive-In Theater with all of JB's back catalogue makes me woozy, but a virtual theater that streamed, like, the PD stuff day-to-day, but could be used for simultaneous watch-alongs? That would be doable and kick-ass.

2022-03-10 06:25:49 +0000 UTCA streaming service that allowed us to watch movies with the JB interstitials would be awesome, to be sure, but part of the Gizmoplex is the shared-event experience (which Joe Bob gave us the Greek word for and I have forgotten) where people watch things together. Part of this is a virtual theater where people hang out and watch the show—complete with avatars sitting in chairs. How cool would it be to have your car drive in to the virtual Drive-In?
