Happy Sunday Mourning, Patreon Pals!

Apologies for not getting your normally scheduled Monstervision ep posted last night.  It was another long travel day for me, and when I finally got home  (at 11:30 pm PST…still technically Splatterday! 😉) and ready to post it, I realized the one I’d planned to post had a bunch of unfortunate tech issues. 😞 I started trying to fix ’em, but it was quite an undertaking and I am a lil’ embarrassed to admit I fell asleep in the midst of it.

Normally I’d just move on to the next episode on my list, but since it’s already late as heck, I figured I’d do some more fiddlin’ to see if I can make this baby watchable. It’s one of my favorite non-horror movies and I’d really love to share it with you. So give me a few hours and hopefully this one will be good to go, but worst case I’ll have you another fun one to watch.

In the meantime here’s a new #AskJoeBob to help make ya ☺️. This one is just from me so I wanted to share it with everyone. It’s a story he randomly told me one day and I instantly knew you Mutants would enjoy it, too. 🥰❤️

I love this story. If more people ignored these kinds of self righteous demands for apologies, the world would be a better place.

My man JB!

😄😄😄 Well.. there oughtta be a Lamplighter Inn in Kokomo. Maybe this is why Maury Povich is now doing polygraphs!

I think Ask Joe Bob has become my most looked forward to segment here on the Pat page. I know I've said it before, but THANK YOU DARCY! 🙏🙏 You really know how to make a fan feel connected ❤️

So funny

This is exactly why I love JBB. Perfection 🤣🖤

This was a great choice Darcy 😊

someone needs to make a pop up lamplighter inn!!!

Brilliant! Most of those morning show hosts are idiots. If you want a similar laugh listen to Bobcat Goldthwait's account when he was on the Today show with Katie Couric promoting Shakes the Clown, debating a clown!

Here’s my question for #AskJoeBob In general, remakes are usually frowned upon (most point to Carpenter’s “The Thing” as being better than the original, but that’s one of the exceptions rather than the rule). What do you think about remakes in general, and in particular what did you think about Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” and Fede Alvarez’ “Evil Dead”? Thank you.

I remember that Hubbies! The Lamplighter was a full house that night!
