Joe Bob’s Thought of the Day: Spry AF Edition

One of the reasons Millennials say "Okay, Boomer" a lot is that they resent our youthfulness.

I'm a 42 year old xennial. Imagine being the middle child that nobody notices.

I think it’s Gen Z that says “Ok Boomer”. Millennials are in their early 40’s now.

Truer words, Joe Bob. Truer words.

Spry AF indeed, Mr. Briggs. Always so handsome!

What has always bothered me (not a boomer or millennial) about the aforementioned catchphrase is that it’s a cheap ad hominem attack. Instead of dealing with the point an alleged boomer made, it’s just an illogical way to discredit them by saying, “you’re old.” It’s also a self-own because it’s an admission of lacking the intellectual capacity to engage in any kind of debate without slinging a canned response in lieu of genuine wit. To reference one of JB’s rants, these fools are among Those Who Cannot Speak or Think, yet they try to tell others what to speak or think.

I’d love to argue, but I have to make it to Golden Corral in time for the early bird special!

I'm a 40 year old millennial, I'm too old to be saying ok boomer 😆

They're just far too handsy.

Sounds a lot like "whatever Dad", but we get older and realize Dad was right😅😅

Why do clocks always gotta sass people? ⏰️🤛

Punch a clock in the face so it knows you're not going to take any of it's nonsense.

I'm going kicking and screaming, myself. 😄😶

Millenials are approaching their forties and are feeling the weight of time on their backs. That "Okay, Boomer" is them trying to deny they're getting older.

Boy, you can tell JB woke up feeling super spry this particular Labor Day. 🤣 P.S. - Diana, I sent back a response to your email last Saturday if you've got a moment to check it. 😊
