I've often wondered if that is why society seems to be going loopy. So many people, it's become hard to stand out and be noticed. Some people go to extremes. Saying and doing stupid things. The old "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit".

People used to ask me why I didn't have more friends of Facebook. I would always respond with, how many do you have? I was amazed when they said several thousand. I would ask them do you remember 1,000 birthdays? That's a lot of conversations to have in a year. So many gifts. I wish I had that much money and time.

i think that is a brilliant question and i would have to totally say yes. not only would we have better personalities but we might just even grow into adulthood because of it! ;) (speaking from someone who has constant, fluctuating Instagram followers and more people on her blocked list than on her Facebook friends list haha) i do not base anything about my life on my internet status.

Is JB’s coquettish “come hither” pose an invitation to test the resilience of the trailer-house’s leaf springs? As soon as I get my chaps, bonnet, and jumper cables on, I’ll be right over 😜. Unlike his stubborn mule-ishness with regards to shopping bags, he’s right about how ridiculous we are to be so emotionally invested in social media validation -seeking the approval of strangers and virtual “friends” only gives others power over our well-being and chips away at our pillars of self worth.

I prefer to think of it in the more positive way of instead of almost 8 billion people having no idea of your existence here are the four that do...wait it's down to three...no it's back up to three and a half.

This Patreon comment board is about as far as my social media activity extends - I shudder to think what that makes of my statistical relevance...
