Mothra has a gender neutral pronoun in the original Japanese, but is pretty much always has in English a female pronoun and she is one of the most popular monsters and has the best record against Godzilla. Some of the outpost numbers are referred to the year when the monster was first introduced. Godzilla is outpost 54 which is a reference to 1954 when the original Godzilla was released in Japan. Mothra is outpost 61 referring to 1961 when the Mothra movie was released. Rodan is outpost 56 when the movie Rodan was released. Kong is outpost 33 when the original King Kong movie was released
