Encounter God’s Heart...
Increasing Faith

Many of us can relate to the disciples as they said with sincerity, “Increase my faith!” But Jesus didn’t respond to them by telling them how their faith could be increased. He answered by reassuring them that what may feel like insufficient faith, when authentic, is actually enough to do miracles. He was encouraging them to use the faith they had and to let go of excuses that would limit their effectiveness.

Let’s be brave in our prayers and unflinching in our declarations of the Word over situations. When we trust in the One who lives in us, we’re tapping into an unending source of power. We may not feel that our faith is enough, but when we agree with him that it is, we’ll see our breakthrough come to pass.

Jesus, fill me with holy boldness that isn’t intimidated by the immensity of the problems I face. When I rest with confidence in what you’ve said, I will see things shift in my favor. Thank you for always encouraging me in my walk with you.

Luke 17:5–6
The Passion Translation

Upon hearing this, the apostles said to Jesus, “Lord, you must increase our measure of faith!” Jesus responded, “If you have even the smallest measure of faith, it would be powerful enough to say to this large tree, ‘My faith will pull you up by the roots and throw you into the sea,’ and it will respond to your faith and obey you.”

Holy Ghost Boldness!!! Faith is like a muscle, it only grows with repetitive use and increased resistance. God gives us “opportunities” to work out our faith daily. But we often lack the boldness to walk into God’s Gym. Jesus is saying…Bro, do you even lift???
