Good morning!
If you read yesterday’s message, this will feel like a continuation….because it is. However, it wasn’t intentional.
After reading Psalm 69, I read Psalm 70 and once again….all the “R” words popped out at me!
From Psalm 70 (The Passion Translation–let me know if you’d like a copy and I will mail one to you :)
Please, Lord! Come quickly and rescue me! God, show me Your favor and restore me…….
But let all who passionately seek You erupt with excitement and joy over what You’ve done! Let all Your lovers, who continually rejoice in the Savior,, say aloud, “How great and glorious is our God!” Lord, in my place of weakness and need, won’t you turn Your heart toward me and hurry to help me? For You are my Savior and I’m always in Your thoughts. So don’t delay to deliver me now, for You are my God.
There seems to be never-ending need for God’s rescue and deliverance sometimes, right? I feel it too. The world is overwhelming sometimes. Our own repeated habits can feel like heavy shackles around our ankles. Our feelings of never being enough, doing enough, having enough can feel so heavy.
But, God! He comes in and rescues and reminds us that we are always on His mind and that He loves to deliver us. Turn to Him and let Him!
