I have the final say.
I see the way the enemy comes after you. It doesn’t just feel like the rug has been pulled out; it’s like the world has tilted off its axis, leaving you dazed and confused. Things are being shaken, and you’re not sure if you have a tight enough grip on me. My beloved, close your eyes and turn your heart to me. I’ve got you.
I’ve got you, but I need you to breathe. I need you to lean in to my fatherly heart. Let me soothe your anxiety and heal this trauma. You will not be able to see clearly or hear my instructions until you find your peace. Until you can fully let go and trust me, it will be difficult to move forward. I am your safe place to cry, vent, and even scream. But don’t stay in a puddle of self-pity. Remind yourself of my promises and put them on your lips. They contain life and power. They are your weapons. Use them! My Word is true, and you can depend on it. No matter what the enemy lies to you about, I will always have the final say.
