Better than you imagine

Good morning!

…..He’s better than anyone could ever imagine……Tell the world how He broke through and delivered you from the power of darkness and has gathered us from all over the world. He has set us free to be His very own! (from Psalm 107:1-3 TPT)

I heard from a friend who stumbled upon my social media a while back. As we corresponded over the months, he gradually noticed more and more that the Lord was reaching into his darkness and setting him free.

Sometimes I think we expect to break out of strongholds once and for all. That can happen. But more often it is incremental and requires trust and gradual growth.

We also always have a choice whether we will open our hearts or stay closed off, bitter, resentful or full of doubt. Open hearts and beautiful, malleable hearts. Closed off/bitter/resentful/doubtful hearts receive what they expect…nothing good.

But the Creator will continually reach out to you. He delights to bring joy into our hearts.

He will always lead into safely and abundance (Psalm 107:7)
