mini-mix: Grouper
Added 2020-03-18 11:56:00 +0000 UTCI've got two new mini-mixes for yall today, and while I definitely won't be able to keep up the 2x a day pace, these next two artists have meant everything to me at various points of my life, and I've been listening to them a lot these days while hunkering down at home. It's impossible to provide a definitive and concise introduction to the exquisite, otherworldly music of Liz Harris, aka Grouper, but I've tried my best.
Here's a career-spanning selection of highlights from her solo releases as Grouper, plus a track from her recent Nivhek project, and a song each from her collaborative projects Helen and Mirrorring. Another mix coming today, so check back a little later.
