って感じで物珍しそうに見てただけで、ぴくりともしませんでしたねw My impressions of participating in this summer's Comiket. Summary: I was wary of heatstroke so I brought lots of heat protection items with me, but I didn't need them as I was too cool. This is the first time we've been placed in East Hall 4, but it's a hall that draws a lot of customers, so I hope we'll be placed around here in the future. Everyone loves the vendors. I got a lot of energy from them, so I'll do my best! □ It was incredibly cool. The temperature at the last summer Comiket reached 39 degrees and it was so hot that many people collapsed, and there were no stretchers to carry them away, so they had to be carried away on carts. I was also feeling dizzy from the heat, so this time I bought a lot of heatstroke prevention goods. However, the temperature was 30 degrees, so it was a little hot, and I ended up not using them much lol □ Big Sight was undergoing renovations (to the air conditioning), so East Halls 123 were unavailable. This time, Arknights was in East Hall 4, which was great! East Hall 4!! It seemed like the audience entered through East 4 and made their way through to Hall 6, so it seemed like there were a lot of people there for other genres or just sightseeing. I was envious of the genres that always get buffed like this lol. This time in particular, Hall 123 was not available, so inevitably everyone on the east side was sucked into East Hall 4. When admission opened in the afternoon, the Arknights island was jammed with Arknights customers, passersby passing through, and customers trying to buy erotic books from the neighboring Azur Lane, overflowing into Arknights Island, causing a huge traffic jam. (I've seriously never seen anything like it.) East 4 is the best. □ I applied for advance delivery. I usually carry in the books by myself, panting and struggling with a cart, but I can't do it in this heat, so I applied for advance delivery with Sagawa. I had known about it for a while, but the application period was too early, so the new issues I wanted to send out hadn't been printed yet. This time, I was able to make it in time, so I gave it a try, and although it's a bit expensive at about twice the delivery fee, it's great that I can come with just one bag lol. I'll definitely have them deliver it from now on. □I asked Rozu (https://x.com/xroserose) to help me sell books as Keobe. I asked Rozu (https://x.com/xroserose). It's so much easier to have a salesgirl! I'm not good at customer service, so this was a big help. It's really nice to have a girl dressed as your favorite character serving you. The people buying the books were smiling too lol. All I had to do was sit next to them, make a low profile, and act like a statue, which was great. Thank you for selling books! I think people who come in cosplay are truly amazing. Keobe, Azrius, Madrock and others were walking around the area and everyone was following them with their eyes, so I'll do my best to get a salesgirl next time too! lol (Have you seen the salesgirl in Azur Lane? I almost uttered His Excellency the Fuhrer's famous line. Bouncy breasts.) □ Gifts Sometimes, people send gifts to our circle, and we're grateful for them. We've received yakisoba bento boxes and guarana from someone in Hokkaido, shrimp crackers, salted yokan, water, and canned coffee from someone in Toyama (I think?), and this time, someone (I think) spoke Chinese and gave us an acrylic keychain of the mainland version of Keobe. When I draw Arknights, I often get Chinese-speaking customers, but it was frustrating not being able to respond appropriately when someone who doesn't speak my language gave me a surprise like this. Next time, I'd like to prepare some kind of gift in return. □I am always reminded how much support I receive. There are bad people and criminals on the internet, and I don't want to have anything to do with them, so for the past few years I've holed myself up on FANBOX and only publish my drawings here and in books, but when I come to Comiket I realize that there are tens of thousands of times more people who simply watch over me, support me, and lend me a hand. It's been almost five years since I stopped drawing, but people from my days drawing Vocaloid still come, and it really makes me realize that in the end it's all about people. I want to keep moving forward with courage for the sake of the people who support me. Thank you so much, as always. As an aside... The space next to mine was for Azur Lane, so I brought an Azur Lane swimsuit book I made a long time ago that's so wholesome it's unthinkable for the current Azur Lane, but I didn't sell a single copy lol. The person from the Azur Lane circle next to me just looked at it curiously as if to say "(Huh? This person draws Azur Lane too?)" but didn't bat an eye. lol
