Another Poll for Cover Art

I know I just asked you guys to do a poll last night, but I spent all night playing around some more. I wanted to take some of the seriousness and more somber tone of the original and maybe blend it with a new one. So I tried some stuff and ended with this newest version, which I think might be a good blend of both. Please, let me know what you guys think between the three.

I like the first one, it's got a very Oogway kind of vibe. It's the very soul of transcendence I think.

2024-08-19 02:51:26 +0000 UTCMaybe it's just me but Version1 gives me an uneasy feeling like sitting alone in the middle of a restaurant with your back to the door. I kinda like the design of V3, but that's a weird looking branch and that's a long drop. That's not a great view, that's a hazard. In addition, tree climbing is carefree and fun and sitting there all muffled and cowled up just seems peculiar. So, all in all my vote would have to go to V2... though it leads one to expect a prominent portal.

Number two conveys traveling through a mystical portal, but he's not that young for most of the book, and he never travels through a gate like that. I chose number 1, but just for giggles, should make one when he first meets Declan: Practically naked, covered in blood and grime. I think that would capture his character quite well, lol.

2024-08-13 19:56:22 +0000 UTCI think the one thing I don’t like about 1 and 3 is nothing of the figure looks definably like Julius. It’s a guy wearing a hood that really could be anyone. In 2 he looks distinctly young, which up to this point in the story Julius has been constantly surrounded by characters older than him. To me that just feels like it really fits
