Lay ur eyes upon HE!! August Belafonte! Aka June’s older brother (or as she likes to call him, her OLD brother). He’s 3 years older than Junie and is named after a month too cos why tf not right?? Anyway, August looks rly intimating doesn’t he? But don’t worry he is EXACTLY as intimidating even in personality as he looks :,) it doesn’t work on his sisters tho. April will out-intimidate him any day and June has the protection of the youngest sibling AND the headassery so it slides right off her back lol.

August is the owner of a really successful gym. While he did get a degree in physics and even landed a pretty great job right of college, his baby girl Amani soon came and he decided he didn’t wanna work a job that had him away from her for so long 😭 so this happened and then that and then eventually he was running a gym where he also offers martial arts lessons.

So what’s August like as a person? Well, he’s a tough one to place sometimes tbh. He has a habit of being quiet and observing people which—with his chronic RBF—is extremely intimidating lol. But he does speak his mind pretty frankly and directly so you can count on him to give you honest feedback. Tho he isn’t always so reasonable. Sometimes he talks mad shit if someone comes with that energy 😂 but that’s for ppl who don’t know him. He is always fighting (in a sibling way) with June, and they kick each other a lot. He is also a troublesome young man to his older sister April, albeit a lot more cautiously 😂
