Pretty uneventful week this week. Besides working on the game, I've been focused on stabilizing my financial situation, which is honestly pretty good right now thanks to you guys. I'm trying to build up some credit, because I'm 30 years old and have never had any credit cards or bills in my name. I'm getting health insurance for the first time in 8 years. I'll be filing taxes for the first time in 8 years. I'm looking into buying a car, moving to a new house, going on a vacation. Not quite able to do any of those things, but next year is looking pretty dang good. Thank you all so much for supporting me and making it so I'm able to do these things. If I wasn't able to make a living making this game, I'd probably have to go get a job I hated, and who knows what would happen then. I'm so grateful to be able to do something I enjoy.
Still playing Magic as well. Been drafting the new set about once a day. Having fun with that. I missed drafting.
Also been watching this documentary on Hulu called City of Angels | City of Death, which is about the homicide and robbery division that was developed in the 70s to hunt down the multiple serial killers operating in LA at that time. Super interesting. I love anything about LA or New York in the 70s. All gritty and seedy and dark. I like that this documentary focuses more on the detectives than the serial killers themselves as well, as I find that so much more interesting. These guys were legit heroes.
Besides that, not much happening! Feeling pretty good this week. Focusing on bug hunting from the alpha tests. Looking forward to new content releasing next month. Hope you guys stick around for it! Love ya!
