Dang has it only been a week since I posted that long New Years rambling? This week has felt like a year. And not a great year either. I'm feeling in a significantly poorer mood since last Monday.

I think I mentioned that my roommate caught covid from her job, then I caught it from her. Fortunately, it was fairly mild for me, but it's caused several days of just not feeling good, and one where I was just out completely. I'm not completely over it yet, but just about there, I think.

I did get one of my Lego sets in that I've been wanting for a long time. The Boutique Hotel modular building. I had a blast putting it together. Easily the highlight of my week for me. It's gorgeous and I bought a light kit for it that should arrive in the next month or so, that will make it look even better.

Other than that, I haven't done much. The covid has made it to where I can't really work out like I would like, so that's probably affecting my mood some. Then yesterday was just a bad day from beginning to end. Woke up feeling depressed, had to have some unpleasant interactions with people I didn't want to talk to, got a sudden rush of negative comments about the game, dogs being obnoxious - got mud all over the carpet, tried to vacuum, but the vacuum stopped working, truck having problems again, and then finished it off with a really bad dream last night that made me wake up crying this morning.

Trying to turn this around. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything at the moment. I don't need a break from working on the game - I need a break from real life, but it never seems to let up.
