Middle eastern ( not asian ) Persimmon are freaking delicious but hard to grow.

7 days, 6 nights. Started late on a Saturday and completed it Friday at noon. Backpacked the entire thing! We're Zone 6 here in KY by the USDA Hardiness Zone map, not sure what the equivalent would be for Europe. You might be surprised what can tolerate a cold winter! Apples for example require a certain number of "chill" hours each year to produce well. -K

77 miles is respectable... how many days? 7 days walking? Looking at where your garden is at and some of your choices, I realize that growth zones differ quite a bit from here (Near Stockholm, Sweden). We couldn't even dream of growing peaches.

I love your property and garden area! I live in a city right now, so I only have a raised bed garden and a few potted plants. I went all in on lilies this year. I planted 16 white lilies, 16 red lilies, and 2 lilies of the valley. I went with flowers this year to focus on bees. My favorite tree by far is the oak tree. Take good care of him!

We thought one of our azaleas (our only one) was going to croak. Just kept losing all its leaves, and getting more and more scrawny. But at the last moment, some little green leaves started growing around the bottom. Now the weather is much better, though it's an indoor plant, and Ms Azalea is kind of thriving!
