A Note & Submissions for Friend Code Ep 78

Hey everyone,

This week I was trying to have some guests on for Friend Code, but unfortunately a scheduling conflict came up at the last minute and so I had to scrap the episode since it was catered to them. Given the short time left in the week and a busy schedule for today, I basically only have one idea for an episode at the moment, which is a reaction to the PS5 event in terms of what Nintendo should do to respond. 

Obviously, Nintendo can and will do what they want, but I think there is value in allowing fans and customers to express what they would like since it would be smart to listen to feedback from your consumers. So Brad and Huber will join me after the PS5 event to record the episode and discuss what we'd like Nintendo to do to counter PS5's in the next few months and in the coming year. This will include software titles we think they should have ready to go to keep people interested in Switch, as well as what hardware revisions we'd like to see. Obviously we have covered all this before, but with more tangible information from Sony, as well as what we know from Microsoft, I think it's a good time to revisit this topic and take a hard look at the Switch's current limitations and flaws that can and should be addressed by Nintendo.

Given the shorter prep time, I do ask that you keep questions related to the topic at hand. We will be recording about 90 minutes after the end of the PS5 event, so if you wish to wait to submit your question until then, you will have some time.

I will try to get our guests on an upcoming episode, and the next episode is scheduled to be about Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and the future of Xenoblade, barring any major new announcements from Nintendo in the next two weeks.

UPDATE: Finally, we were supposed to record today after the PS5 event, but other things took priority and so recording is now pushed back to tomorrow evening. And with the our busy Saturday, this episode will likely not go up until Sunday now. Apologies for this delay.
