Cup of Jones - June 22, 2020 - Audio

I brought up a specific concern last week regarding my role on the EZA Podcast and this week I got a lot of specific replies with great ideas. So the questions in today’s episode are from people that brought up other potential issues or things that required clarification. I’ll take a moment to read back through all of your podcast suggestions a second time. I appreciate all that feedback so much. It’s hard to know where to draw the line between coming up with original ideas for the show versus taking great ideas from the community, and I apologize if you submitted something genius that doesn’t work its way into our weekly grind.

Ah we had a similar saying "the nights are. long but the years are short", which was quite useful to remember during those long, long nights. I recall the first 10 months of baby's life was very difficult. Mainly due to sleeping deprivation (5 hours of broken sleep and lots of crying every night for 10 months gets to you). Between 10 months to around 15 months it slowly got better. Now at 23 months, sleep is so much better. Baby still wakes a couple times a night but it's just so much easier to manage. Good job to you and Amanda for getting through the first year. I know it can be very difficult (depending on your baby), but what you've done is a great feat. That first year did feel slow at the time, but at almost 2, they become so child-like (rather than baby-like), and it does feel like everything went by so quickly now. I can't believe my baby speaks in short sentences now, it's so surreal. Anyway, congrats for the first year. Happy birthday Milo! L&R.
