Based on the footage, it just looks like Brainiac has found a way to control them. So while I imagine you fight them in boss battles, I doubt any heroes will be dying.

2021-10-23 17:26:51 +0000 UTCOne of the rumors circling Suicide Squad Kills the Justice League is that you aren’t fighting the Justice League but rather their Earth 3 evil counterparts, the Crime Syndicate who are impersonating the JL. This is based off of Evil Flash’s design in the trailer and monologuing being reminiscent to that of Johnny Quick, the Earth 3 Flash. Particularly in the Forever Evil storyline, which saw several villains attempt to kill the Crime Syndicate and rescue the Justice League after the former took over the world. It’s possible this story could take inspiration from there.
