In the next few days I’ll be posting a series of videos on my IG stories that are a sponsored ad for a phone game. I try my best not to do sponsored content because 1) I don’t like doing it, and 2) it usually a bull shit product. The last product I fully sponsored was “loot wear” and even though I don’t work with them anymore, I still swear by them. Now I hear you asking “what is the point of this post?” And that’s a great question.
The patreon community, all of you reading this, are really important to me. Patreon feels like a safe space, like a place I can genuinely be myself. I can complain, I can boast, I can share my mistakes, I can basically just stop being “Michael Hamm” and just be “Mike” (if that makes any sense). Because of that I wanted to let you guys know about the stories I’ll be posting.
I think that they are really cute and fun, but they are also cheesy as hell because there were certain things i “had” to say. It’s a little cringe for sure. There are also a few mistakes that... actually maybe I’ll do reaction video of it for you guys! Holy shit I’m really rambling.
Anyway, I’m promoting a game, and it’s gonna look cheesy and fake as hell, but I really do enjoy the game and I’m still playing a week after they payed me, so that’s a good sign I guess. Also it was a Russian company and the video I set to get approved was pretty gay, and they were hesitant but said yes anyway. But yeah, I just don’t want to seem like “one of those” Instagram people. Well not to you guys anyway. WHY AM I EVEN WRITING THIS.
Ps: I can’t tell you what the game is yet, but keep an eye on IG if you want to see it.
