better pics when i can varnish! some thoughts is that it was nice to do something (semi) smaller, taking 4 days painting something instead of 1 to 2 weeks. i also laid an absolute truck load of paint down on this one and was able to change things while it was still wet which was nice. i was also less inclined to be lazy.
