Weekly Rant : Progressing on the Map - Feb 2nd 2022

We are still hard at work on the map. Most, if not all the interior tile art for houses is done and is being implemented for the existing areas. We still have more tile art to make for upcoming areas, but for now we are focused on getting in the bathroom so we can expand our event options and getting the interiors touched up with the new art assets.

We are progressing well, but this stage takes a little more time then you would think. We already have all these individual objects and npcs in place so there is a lot of double checking to make sure we aren't messing up paths or moving objects that have interaction triggers. On top of that, interiors just take a good bit of time. When in any individual house, they may seem small, but when you compare the interiors to the exterior, their size really becomes apparent. See the image for the best example of this.

We will be done with the existing map upgrade in the next few days and if time allows I will be getting a second event in addition to the promised event and outfit for this coming update.
