And this time we've also got a poll to vote for which longer topic I get into. I can only do one really broad question per session so if new in-depth questions are asked in the comment sections they'll end up on the poll for next month's Q&A.

Although rather late to the question thread this time around (lol), this did appear as a brief thought: Since the Derek DLC is close to the pre-purchase stage, what's the planned price for the DLC in itself? Same can apply to Baxter's if you plan to keep it alike due to the similar amount of additional content. (Mainly curious for the sake of my personal budget for the months ahead, but wouldn't mind splurging a few extra dollars for Derek DLC 👀) Also, and upon playing through the updated N&F beta (which wowow, love it ❤️), has Tamarack always had a cheeky smile? Cannot help but have my eyes water every time she commits to a ":3" face because its too precious for this world ;-;

2022-06-12 15:48:48 +0000 UTCOk so, I asked this question on the Baxter DLC photo of his bedroom and someone reminded me of the Q&A so now I'm writing it here XD With Cove we had some spicy moments that never went that far towards step 3 and 4 so I was kinda curious to know if something like that will happen with Derek/Baxter as well, since they are different from Cove it would also be interesting to see how they behave, what they like and what their reaction would be. Cove was overall adorable in everything related to spicy stuff so it's interesting to know how they would react and I feel like everyone is probably curios to know that as well XD I prefer to keep their reaction and behavior or role a surprise for when I will play the DLC, my only real question that a few people seem to be curios as well is ''will there be some slight NSFW moments like with Cove in Step 3/4?'' the same question kinda apply to OL2, I'm curios to know if in step 3/4 you can have some moments like that with the characters.

2022-06-07 21:43:17 +0000 UTCI know the OL1 LIs all show up in step 4, I was wondering if it was possible to do an indecisive route, where you maybe had feelings for Cove in step 1, but also crushed on Derek in step 2, fell in love with Baxter in step 3 and then decide who you end up with in step 4? If so, would any of them remember the chaos you've created in the final step or would they all just pretend whatever you did with the others never happened?

Also, I really appreciate how there's no "conflict character" in both OL games- someone who exists just to cause drama. How did you balance where the conflicts come from in the moments? It's spread really evenly in OL1 and I just think that's really impressive.

2022-06-07 00:24:13 +0000 UTCWith the inclusion of nicknames, would it be possible for Qiu and/or Tamarack to offer one if the player doesn't give one to their MC (or as a chance to change the nickname during a Step, and the player would like the LIs to either give them a new nickname or work with the MC to pick one). It could be handled like choosing instruments and sports not covered (i.e. clarinet and tuba or soccer and football) when the MC is telling Kyra what their interests in the openning of Stage 2 or naming one of Cove's fish in dinner. It'd be entirely optional (after all, your MC may never want nickname, regardless of who offered one to them or would like to keep the one they had from before coming to Golden Grove, after all), and the player could change it again if they want when the next Stage comes along.

I have hazel eyes and I usually go with a honey brown-ish color which still looks nice! It just remember it being a little unimmersive when a character comments about your eye color as brown or beige

I've played around with the red and purple but I can't get one that looks just like hers, haha (though maybe you can and I haven't found the right spot on the sliders). It would be a little more mature with some topics but you could have fun with something like that in a college town?

For example, having a crush I can say how Tamarack is cute and she'll respond "Yeah" with a slight blush. Reacting to what I've said but, does Qiu or Tamarack, either in step 1 or going forward give compliments to your MC as well first?
